The application of explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous motors

Explosion-proof motors are a type of motor that can be used in flammable and explosive environments and do not produce electric sparks during operation. Explosion-proof motors are mainly used in coal mines, oil and gas, petrochemicals and the chemical industry. In addition, it is also widely applied in sectors such as textiles, metallurgy, urban gas, transportation, grain and oil processing, papermaking, and medicine. The rated voltage, rated current, power and rotational speed of explosion-proof motors are the same as those marked on ordinary motors. The difference is that explosion-proof motors have an additional explosion-proof mark: Ex. I. Explosion-proof Type + Equipment Category + (Gas Group) + Temperature Group Explosion-proof Type: 1. Flameproof type Ex d2, sand-filled type Ex q3, increased safety type Ex e4, encapsulated type Ex m5. Positive pressure type Ex p6, n type Ex n7, intrinsically safe type Ex ia Ex ib8. Special type Ex s9, Oil-immersed Type Ex o10, Dust explosion-proof type DIP A, DIP B2. Ii. Equipment Categories Electrical equipment for explosive gas environments is classified as follows: Class I: Electrical equipment for underground coal mines; Class II: Electrical equipment for explosive gas atmospheres other than those in coal mines. Class II flameproof type "d" and intrinsically safe type "i" electrical equipment is further classified into Class IIA, IIB and IIC. Electrical equipment for combustible dust environments is classified as: Type A dust-tight equipment; Type B dust-tight equipment. Iii.
